Erin Lynas, LCA Consultant

Erin Lynas

LCA Consultant

Erin is a life-cycle assessment consultant with experience in sustainable design and architecture. Erin joined LCD Consulting after earning a Bachelor of Science in Architecture from the University of Bath. Since then, she has helped clients quantify embodied carbon and align with net zero plans by delivering multiple building level life cycle assessments (LCAs) for residential, commercial, and educational projects as well as numerous product level assessments and EPDs.

Previously, Erin worked at an engineering company measuring Scope 1, 2, and 3 emissions, and completed a research internship with the UNCARB team at the RENEW research centre at the University of Bath, advancing a tool for visualising uncertainty in life cycle carbon analysis. She has also undertaken several academic projects focusing on retrofit and sustainable design and is a certified Passivhaus Consultant.

Motivated by a commitment to sustainable architecture, Erin uses her knowledge of design and her analytical abilities to provide evidence-based solutions that promote the shift to a built environment with lower carbon emissions.

Srilakshmi Ramakrishnan

LCA Consultant

Srilakshmi is a life-cycle assessment consultant with a background in sustainable architecture and life-cycle analysis. She completed her Bachelor's in Architecture from India and her Master's in Sustainable Architecture at the University of Sheffield.

During her studies, she worked on projects including the retrofit of the Worksop Priory Gatehouse, integrating sustainable design strategies to preserve heritage structures. Her publication, "Assessment of Indoor Illuminance in a Traditional House in Hot-Semi Arid (BSh) Climate in Shekhawati, Rajasthan," shows her ability to bridge traditional architectural practices with modern sustainability insights. At LCD, she conducts life-cycle assessments, analysing carbon emissions, materials efficiency, and environmental impacts to align designs with net-zero targets.
